Sell Your Used Items
Do you have witchy stuff sitting around collecting dust? Consider selling to Necessary Magic! Read below for details about our used buying policy. Please read all policies before bringing items to the store.
What do we buy?
We purchase items in good condition for resale. These items include:
Complete Oracle/Tarot decks
Incomplete Oracle/Tarot decks missing a few cards, the book, or the box. 80% of cards required.
Books on Witchcraft, Metaphysics, Mythology, Deities, Fairy Tales, Witchy Fiction, etc.
Cauldrons
Candle Holders
Cute wooden boxes
Statues
If you have items that are not on this list, feel welcome to ask us if we’ll take them!
We have the right to refuse to buy any items we are not interested in. Items we don’t want go home with you.
What do we pay?
We will assess your items and make you an offer. Payment is in the form of store credit and can be used toward the purchase of non-consignment items like candles, runes, herb bundles, oils, and incense.
(Items that cannot be purchased with store credit are generally jewelry, wood carvings, and art prints.)
We currently cannot save credit in our system, so please plan to spend your store credit during your visit.
When do we purchase used items?
Mondays and Tuesdays. If you are selling more than five items, please call ahead to make an appointment. 503-741-3563. We may need to step away to help other customers during the assessment process. We encourage you to visit during the less-busy hours of 10-11am and 4-5pm.
